I had a total knee replacement in April and boy that has been quite an experience. This past week I had a cornea transplant so it has been quite the year, but all is well now. I have been working on a few projects so I will try to get pictures taken and posted in the next few days. My sister has moved back to Utah so I am looking forward to crafting with her. I have a lot to lean about papercrafting. I intend to pick her brain. I hope that I can learn from her and that I might be able to teach her also. We have been spending time with family this summer so our craft time has been limited. You might like to check our her blog <a href="http://sashayward.blogspot.com">here</a>.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-85431389204799952412010-02-24T00:18:00.009-07:002010-02-24T01:06:02.476-07:00New Dolls Finished<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5441717104194406786" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiam7-0rtm7-SirLRuv90X2EuDGbAS_oF2U215Sn-cteeYYvpxbdPuenYHAIHKbx-AMqd7EbpeX4ATVkE0nUqSzt7JRGZ1e2WbhAXbDSoxo64hLLp0tvXTf6QzNHGtTtFE2pjIo_IGOPApg/s320/IMG_0215.JPG" /><br /><div></div><br /><div>These are a few of my little dollies that I have been trying to finish. I have quite a few to get done so these are the first for this year. It is m y goal to get them done this year. I don't have any more space to display them, but I will finish them anyway. My house is packed with my babes. but they are fun to look at and enjoy. The little boy up above is a doll that I made a few years ago that reminded me of my grandson, Daniel , as a child. Daniel is 17 now.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5441712402179128050" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW-d4e4ZavGXsgtSvD5tb8gbb1SQgB1sqY50UFDGxqxdLSulAhjHOu2H2xiF7iKvzE7lBeNXqu-6wmHU_V1qxqDd3lkB3NUVRgqHcIZ2jAgr-OVz7ArP9XPgrAZmaAwMQp7YvAb7TUL009/s320/IMG_0218.JPG" /></div><br /><div>This is Flossie. I have been working on completeing some of my unfinished projects this year. I have around 50 unfinished dolls so I thought that<em> </em>trying to complete as many of them as I can. I got 2 done today. I will post pics of them. When Kent passed away I lost my desire to finish them. I don't know why, but that is what happened. I am now tired of looking at them so I thought I had better get to work. So many things changed when I lost him it is hard to explain. Since then I have been trying to reinvent myself and boy it is hard. I continue to work on that part of my life. Just try to keep as busy as possible.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-21261710517826836352010-01-28T17:26:00.005-07:002010-02-04T16:55:22.989-07:00Erika's BlogAs you can all see I haven't posted in some time, but I hope that I will soon get back to making cards. I have been making chatalaines for my quilt group. As usual I made more than I really needed to make, but they made me happy while I was making them. It was fun to find fabrics from my stash and play with combinations. As you can see I found some really cute tiny scissors to put in the pouch. I hope that will enjoy them when they are doing their handwork, but since this is the beginning of my next years Christmas, they will have to wait until then. Each chatalaine has it's own personality just like my friends. They each make me smile because they are such cheerful colors. I have finished that project so I will getting on to other things. I am posting to let you all know about Erika's blog,<a href="http://taylordconcepts.blogspot.com/"> taylordconcepts</a>. If you have some time, stop by and take a look at all of her fun ideas.<br />.<br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431958811640322498" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy5pr_f3gqWVMADkKRu-6WWFBJ-rC2Gj0Re9Ntx8Sobj65WmOvMLZuL_cYNa3LpEm1xnzKtrHIRiZvneicYryw-4cmL2Bkj8bqijGtlbbQsdQfeKbA1zDeP8rEVBAfIT_wM1GDtrSfodUz/s320/IMG_0206.JPG" />Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-26571681236640849692009-11-27T20:35:00.005-07:002009-11-27T20:57:32.922-07:00My Cozy Home CardThis little card is a collaboration with my niece, Kaylene, my sis, Sue and I. My sister textured the white background . Kaylene cut out the silhouette with the Cricut using the cartridge " A Child's Year". I helped assemble the card. My photography doesn't highlight the embossed frame around the images very well, but the card really looks cute. I know the challenge is Cozy Home and I don't actually have a home here, but this image reminds me of my children bringing their tree to a cozy home. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for all of my blessings and for my health and that of my family. Enjoy<br /><br /><br />"<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 264px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5408995611065323810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4hC0_-4Nfk3kTQUlFMLpOKK1fThbUuF9nzRSgaHE-dcYmAWFnb6z89pF3EIi9bA8Q9sb33HmzEy4eIJYwE9T4zepNjHVKX-9d3LJkPIPN1fQmDF8wHIsQi0eCuQajZxEruxa6to5ReVUQ/s320/IMGP0418.jpg" />Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-8010194611997673512009-11-26T00:23:00.004-07:002009-11-26T00:38:07.424-07:00Button Button<div>This is a really simple card that I made to share with my quilt group. I came home to snow on the ground so I thought I would make a card for <a href="http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.com/">Crafty Creations </a>metallic challenge. I used metallic paper for snowflakes. As it happens it works for monochromatic challenge for <a href="http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/">Gingersnap Creations</a>. I used Stampin' Up Holiday Lineup stamp on white card stock the background is blue dot card stock from Lasting Memories. I punched out different snowflakes of different papers. I think the metallic snowflakes make my card really fun<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 321px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 250px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5407507084222532242" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgGXCt3k7CDgwA-2BNRaqVfy7I_a8co5Qp-kKgQuQKhFABeM7ZeCCflUbLMtpWXiDj3ObnuQf8zcjkfghNokbYfrxV4wuA_eAqyeV3Cl6ZMuf-MQj1Enw2iSGDyQywt8FqTWWDxgtIyDp8/s320/IMGP04211.jpg" /><br /><br />I am also sending a picture of my granddaughter, Hayley, she is a senior in high school, and she is such a sweetheart. I don't get to spend enough time with her. I wish that we lived closer. I really miss spending time with Adam and his family.<br /><br /><br /><br />.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5407510606080625826" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmBtJj5i3aN8AX2OvR7gFwfJmZ2SFCznAYAfB37fTVK2LDjKnr3evJIsUzs4vomRmyMDbarRoq371hV0LEnhefjgnvHOylJ_vvFFRf870-GIFtzq1iyStHHUEVVXZuwqqMof2_zY2pBvi3/s320/IMGP0426.JPG" />Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-52688503078716745792009-11-07T23:06:00.004-07:002009-11-07T23:31:41.079-07:00Bloomin' BeautifulOh, what fun it is to color today. I made this card to send to my daughter today. The stamp I used is Bloomin' Beautiful from Stampin' Up. I used markers to color it. I like the way it turned out. I used velvet ribbon to embellish. The card stock is from Lasting Memories.<br />I hope you all had a great day today.<br />.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5401610889415190610" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvChXiMwG3r0Cpk9ZvErCQPIGsQeDYdUC2tBwdmhr27q553x0leJGPRwB7v6gUiGlBCdFZ1j-KeBRO0RkCHsuLhaL0Y7APsjJ9OkbE6YWrWSHkhVldzQKhOGSd3jVISqvkrcTAfAgrEpJP/s320/bloomin+beautiful.JPG" />My friend and I had a great day today. We went to a cowboy poetry festival . It was so fun to listen to these talented people relate stories about the Old West. There were also a lot of great cowboy music to enjoy. My husband loved cowboy music. I guess we would all like to be cowgirls and cowboys. Tomorrow I think I will make a cowgirl card for my friend. As I said in past posts I have been sewing up a storm for my family for Halloween. This card is really simple, but I love it because it incorporates two of my favorite colors, pink and green. I used a stamp set from Stampin' Up called "Time Well Spent". I love the look of the flower and the sentiment. I used card stock from Lasting Impressions. The green is especially fun because it is polka dot. I colored the flower with markers and cut it out I embellished the flower and the scallops with half pearls.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400514551145051266" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNAkfXxseLzYhB_iqw1ewqRudS4Gb9vTAnKn5ZKCAScln9x-mX9gneUJaqW7lkveJmlpNb57BfBJAjqnFZFS_G4hyphenhyphenKuwYU8GP0xUmrI2adH3dj8_2f0-7OZpyqCNknaNEeDr8coOnDYi2B/s320/IMGP0333.JPG" /></div>Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-2717709045665200852009-10-29T22:30:00.008-06:002009-11-15T16:10:45.607-07:00Halloween Fun!I haven't posted for a few weeks because I have been making Halloween costumes for my family. First is my daughter-in-law, Lyndsey. I made her costume with dark brown felt then appliqued the design on the wings. Lyndsey and my son Josh wanted to dress their bull dogs as the flying monkeys. They are both very creative.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398247255715604194" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxGpWGN95CqYbXY5WxLpc2DGN38p0OXXHm6EO0bo3nqOnCzZVJg-5sOBn-P-rFbqT4dfpFd7QtyVNOSlQV1xKcywuVhLOo6uijzLBiRkjbWoHMCFjWTeQ-mn3jeHJZUhPD92vdz6Waj6QV/s320/IMGP0394.JPG" />This is my <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">interruption</span> of the flying monkeys. First is Lola and then Lucie. The coats are made from felt and the hoods are made of black fur. I made the wings of felt with feathers . The tail is a wire armature covered with fur. I think they turned out so cute. I had so much fun figuring out how to make them.<br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 278px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398246854159661746" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5o9nCI1w69VLny3TuGnBVulTf0gn5GF9f2XPSg72brnZhYTj6r3sTCbeKbW36zZTNbytKUQTIwwyXNr_ncDQ0v9scQTSgV9LRd-H5loAnQ9Tv4oQg5ZFz_MenrGNVa8T_nRZbH9co7WA9/s320/GetAttachment%5B3%5D.jpg" /><br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 277px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398246551798650274" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Ha06-l8-9vTHYqV86KjeqDsAEOiqXqoXm-RfpY_K2cjNBVMdTXXlVVHOTNuZWIkJFxGyh4bQ0XYnUE0D_Gg0-QItvsA4TC37-IJDk-pMJpl5NeWnNRi7e6-anDesWjX9F-Zze1eMHApQ/s320/GetAttachment%5B2%5D.jpg" /> As I was making the costumes Einstein was my model. He was absolutely <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">mortified</span> when I dressed him <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">up</span>, but I had to have a model . I hope that they all have fun trick-or-treating .<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398246181479202994" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_HjSWFKY1ZRSnmOKSP0LS4Lz931Fnyq_vsfL9JfPtqSDwo_jRy7zuwIA7GtN_GJc_hrMTF01BeBiDbBVj59AZKKovK_kGe2MLrEk20RrRXr2oMOGPG151IVo-Tfi75cvPncLVXNi_rRGl/s320/IMGP0392.JPG" /><br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 268px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398246074793746098" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhduSsEgeTzfvvgOEXaHc2Wcv8xPtowb_5aAJAka_tcgKQlA1n4tiWwqphj-vpkzD1JzmvpUdIq3EbwOgLUfszZQhZ-d2Tg2XDdyOPGmtcx_XDulqvGNHjMskCgoiE51rlS5wdjOF5xEgjS/s320/IMGP0390.jpg" /><br />I will upload the pictures of my daughters family when she sends them to me. I am not a scrapbooker. My sister Sue is the master scrapbooker. She has made some beautiful scrap books. You can check out her blog <a href="http://sashayward.blogspot.com/">here</a>. She is also a great cardmaker. We both have been doing crafts together all of our lives. My faux scrapbooks are made using artist canvas. I painted them so that the backrounds were uneven. I used pictures of my husband and I as children then teens and then our wedding picture. I embellished them with wording and ribbons and some charms.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5391953944286962466" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn3G1MEvn3btg49bD7W5MlQGSS_zIcm3pMz4fJ5tv5QYLUYmSuTjjbR1SW6LiTXLV0xmhxgAAzg0DIxivMop8tiAIRhCFQHdJOqcd9cJyyd8A-hzhjeUMr21Ytv8jis6qgNz5pV7uvDbgm/s320/IMGP0370.jpg" /></div><div> </div><div>My children are spread out all over the country so I really enjoy looking at these pictures each day as I go in and out of my house. It was made on green <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">card stock</span> the tree was cut to shape then strips of <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">card stock</span> were added with brads. Merry Christmas was stamped and glittered to as some sparkle. My cards are pretty simple compared to other in the group. I get so much inspiration from all of you. I used a witches hat that I stuffed so that it would stand up. Had to use a thin piece of cardboard to cover hole in bottom of hat. Now the fun begins with lots of autumn leaves and some really beautiful copper and gold colored organza ribbon. <br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 271px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5388910044314230610" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4SNwK_Bp_vDNG1kRNY6VjIYCcNCJqvGeSTNSzcCFq3VPAwFRHBGtru2KdITm3j1cv4LK1veTw-RNdGlYyVnH9B4MVHlYITORn_hlW6JW6u-ZCSlNr0gB7_SnOsaS5JlItLncuhR9h8Wn0/s320/Picture+0061.jpg" /></div><br />The more froufrou the better. I am having 2 little celebrations today. First, my oldest son Adam is having his 40<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span> birthday. I can't believe it because I am not that old. Really!!<br /><br />Second, I just finished my 50<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error"><span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span></span> baby quilt since April. Some are <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">pieced</span> and some are panels that have pieced borders. I have a <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">longarm</span> quilting machine and I am trying to learn how to use it. I am getting better at quilting. It has been fun creating 50 different quilts, but I am glad that I have finished them for now. I know that I will make more. Not sure what I am going to do with them yet. My grand kids will get some and I will probably donate some of them. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5387848721543411490" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEil_XY_z8fjPyipO-wVhS6GL3_zbjlroiONJnWx5Hq5csegZXzufTYQjdXy400IAmc1gqscmZW6ztORip3KTm-r7CklpCgMNhUTbm9_MBpDvJBNv2YysIx0s9SHopAp35PofIb561m8TY9d/s320/Picture+003.jpg" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5387848547993384306" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZb12bbQF4DF0mcAvZjGdEkmbmRLUu2s-9jG5ie5uE3V1Xl8GdSgk3nxbHwGrKc9FGbGeMi5Wr6aB8VV_JshDwIP4avJDPppjylkKvLc84ghWE-tIJR6JibWW-0kRO5OxrXS8FxBx_yM-F/s320/Picture+004.jpg" /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5387847831106896370" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFJr0V2zGWbPwNOExR2PRrJ9t6RaaQWvaVDsXaYvb-iVzP212O7-tXrB6-_GLigXVSGcbnhz8Z8Uq5SbtdFm9Yr7UhxYYe1MTlzsikJdgFwPogCgeTYJIG9cg3q1kn1YZddwHmqtcxCf7D/s320/Picture+005.jpg" /><br /><br /><p>I hope you enjoy looking at my work. It is fun and easy to make. </div>Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-30575922167620193822009-09-22T00:42:00.005-06:002009-09-22T01:02:44.202-06:00Spooky Fun<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4nmNj3UxeGDhHtItc5jn5vaJAnv9Yp8ACeAWY8SvyUGCyKa0ZBvhP5bYtLNSHXRUizYTaVfnZTcWFFr8z494cHZR3Qw9CBoA5VyLSBEh1RPTc9dCXR3CxvaisZFyUuPx-B6y5-cbaIP2n/s1600-h/Jackson.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 310px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5384181477253414050" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4nmNj3UxeGDhHtItc5jn5vaJAnv9Yp8ACeAWY8SvyUGCyKa0ZBvhP5bYtLNSHXRUizYTaVfnZTcWFFr8z494cHZR3Qw9CBoA5VyLSBEh1RPTc9dCXR3CxvaisZFyUuPx-B6y5-cbaIP2n/s320/Jackson.jpg" /></a> This is Jackson, my grandson. He is 3 years old and what a joy he is. He is hugging my puppy, Einstein. Jackson changes so much in between my visits. Playing with him makes my life interesting and he keeps me feeling young. I love it!!!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8ZqI5KWdp6dp76jFn4qWZf6JWzL-88WI-RWVqOoOSagy8r-ODYu9cvhaeDv5UM_aQlz7OcjGY0qkWyVcT_h2AwX-a1haDOvkzhmqbqhQNlCL8Y5PnbNMtjR6w_4G0PqoNYwH500Hl2alp/s1600-h/Picture+044.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5384178848636083970" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8ZqI5KWdp6dp76jFn4qWZf6JWzL-88WI-RWVqOoOSagy8r-ODYu9cvhaeDv5UM_aQlz7OcjGY0qkWyVcT_h2AwX-a1haDOvkzhmqbqhQNlCL8Y5PnbNMtjR6w_4G0PqoNYwH500Hl2alp/s320/Picture+044.jpg" /></a> It's almost Halloween so here is fun card to celebrate. I made a tag style card. I used a paper punch to make the fence and stamped the Boo and the houses with stamps in my stash. The card is purple so I just added a strip of orange and a strip of green at the bottom of the card.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div>This card was so much fun to make and I know that my little grandson, Jackson will love receiving it.</div></div>Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-33859667087987077022009-09-22T00:18:00.002-06:002009-09-22T00:37:48.040-06:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJSKnRhRqVZOkAOLCi66R5AApF_76lgT6ONjzi78gBvtbTdalpTIXhnp7vtr93d-FeywX1BUdN4SGww194T91rkRjsr0vL_U92-xBlbS_qHHtIh_98un9Ok9MRctyQshkao875nakkW4Eh/s1600-h/Picture+027.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5384172608319243458" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJSKnRhRqVZOkAOLCi66R5AApF_76lgT6ONjzi78gBvtbTdalpTIXhnp7vtr93d-FeywX1BUdN4SGww194T91rkRjsr0vL_U92-xBlbS_qHHtIh_98un9Ok9MRctyQshkao875nakkW4Eh/s320/Picture+027.jpg" /></a> Here is a card that my niece and I made a few weeks ago.<em> </em>I used paper punches to make the flowers and butterflies. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I love sparkle so I added a few rhinestones in the flower centers. I know it's Fall but this card looks like Spring. My other favorite season.<br /><br /><br /> As you know I am still pretty new to blogging so I will try this new post. I am hoping that my sis will be able to help me next week when she comes up for 3 days. I have a great desire to join the blogging world because it seems like it is great fun. I know that I need to dedicate time to the learning curve. I am really tech challenged so I hope that all of you longtime blogger will bear with me as I muddle through my learning process.<br /><br /><br /><br />I had 2 family reunions this past weekend. It was so fun to be with family and catch up with their lives. We have a tradition to play games and I give silly prizes so I have some fun pics of my cousins. I will try to post them .<br /><br /><div></div>Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7853096848440826538.post-56029700831589616342009-08-20T00:29:00.006-06:002009-09-23T17:56:54.928-06:00Pretty n' Pink<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0CBaXdOL7G70TT8qsccLJWn956p6ikYFtkzYaCZ8AHOW_cvx6j75DCw3Sq-Pr6xoRtfa8RAr2uoyUJcPeQu2MCXGG0n8ZD3ve4JyyomTGleHELSAGBCpxsekuloiAY9OwPfLTzJxYjGmI/s1600-h/IMGP0041.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371934207490183538" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0CBaXdOL7G70TT8qsccLJWn956p6ikYFtkzYaCZ8AHOW_cvx6j75DCw3Sq-Pr6xoRtfa8RAr2uoyUJcPeQu2MCXGG0n8ZD3ve4JyyomTGleHELSAGBCpxsekuloiAY9OwPfLTzJxYjGmI/s200/IMGP0041.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKQ_CfUze8bGiR0H5SngNauaZSo6GCYhHOmUkk-2tPWxbRCzIjjpPNY2-TCiZrwyFb-92YdvEcNjbuUhZAkMsnPJkh_OuZnm6NQXh4S7tov0LJYhPGWPDz4Yk_0sqvVx851aLvkPsdfKVk/s1600-h/IMGP0042.JPG"></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR8V4GZNwQs7zhLG2wZOKIH0imbfwMnp1kBej41ISj0yK7PS5aqJPuJOq624oQfVeqdICFedp_Tq_fDgDu11DTemGWzPfu1y2vgvm-G5WpFje5wUPdnNbApjJv3JvbwtUklQ3D6UbNgewS/s1600-h/IMGP0037.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgr-IcsReMPY9pRvKLUb_OqG-CHVU1yVuqdnHyyu9RAKsKMpWJUJdI5_6zH7eOagzB9qOUFJJE5jAXH8G7XUl2PzxK8wxrj83O3R6wQCeB41whcMxcdjAmIuhMPRnzEQnAyMKQgFIC2i4qL/s1600-h/IMGP0026.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div>This is a double pocket card that my sister taught me how to make. Things have been pretty hectic here this summer so I haven't been able to try this again since my sis went home to Las Vegas. While she was here we made a bunch of cards, as yet I am not sure how to post pictures, but I will figure that out soon, hopefully. My grandson has been here for about 6 weeks . We have been doing alot of golfing and movie watching. Since he went home I have just been trying to catch up with housework and yard work. I am also trying to prepare for a craft show in Oregon towards the end of August. I will try to post pictures of our cardmaking day tomorrow.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11127038266881088598noreply@blogger.com2
